A SPC floor is waterproof and resistant to water, but it is vulnerable to damage if the subfloor has rising moisture issues, as this moisture cannot escape between the planks and can harm the floor. In the presence of subfloors affected by rising moisture, installation can only take place after waterproofing the substrate.
